Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify the specific needs of children and adolescents presenting various behavioral and emotional challenges.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and play therapy, to address conditions such as anxiety, depression, and ADHD.

• Collaborate with child psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and the best therapeutic outcomes.

• Offer crisis intervention services during mental health emergencies, promptly addressing any urgent needs of young patients.

• Educate patients and families about mental health topics, treatment options, and available community resources to ensure comprehensive support and informed decisions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be working with children and adolescents facing a variety of mental health challenges, from anxiety and depression to more complex behavioral disorders. You will interact with patients typically aged 5-18, providing them with the therapy and support they need to navigate their mental health journeys. In this role, your compassionate approach will be paramount in building trust and rapport with young clients, encouraging them to express their feelings and experiences openly.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Arizona.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience working with children and adolescents is required.
\n
• Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic modalities and a strong understanding of child and adolescent mental health disorders.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate and child-centered approach in all interactions.

• Ability to establish trust with children, adolescents, and their families while fostering a safe therapeutic environment.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is USD 75,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
