Key Responsibilities\n

• Conducting thorough preliminary interviews with clients and documenting their mental health assessments from the initial consultation through to discharge.
\n
• Evaluating clients' mental, behavioral, and emotional health to formulate informed, effective treatment plans.
\n
• Developing personalized intervention strategies for individuals, couples, families, and groups based on evidence-based practices.
\n
• Facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions to provide an engaging therapeutic experience that promotes recovery.
\n
• Monitoring client progress throughout the treatment plan, making necessary adjustments to interventions as required.
\n
• Collaborating closely with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, doctors, nurses, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive client care.
\n
• Following up with affiliated medical professionals for clients who require hospitalization, ensuring continuity and quality of care during recovery.
\n
• Identifying potential risks and barriers to recovery, proactively addressing these issues to support client success.
\n
• Providing guidance and resources to family members and primary caregivers to enhance their ability to support individuals facing mental health challenges.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clientele consists of a diverse group, including children, adolescents, adults, and families across various socio-economic backgrounds. Often, clients present with a spectrum of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Your role will directly impact their journey toward healing and resilience, with the ability to create tailored support that best meets their individual needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Arizona.
\n
• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• Demonstrated experience as a mental health counselor, showcasing proficiency in a range of therapeutic modalities.

Preferred Experience\n

• Familiarity with electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR, to enhance clinical efficiency and documentation.

• An understanding of the underlying physical and emotional health conditions, alongside addiction disorders that may affect client treatment.
\n
• Knowledge of best practices as outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) and an awareness of pharmacological treatments prescribed by other medical professionals.

• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to establish rapport easily with clients and their families.
\n
• A nurturing disposition, complemented by strong interpersonal skills that facilitate a trusting therapeutic environment.

Compensation and Benefits\n
