Work Environment\n

This remote position allows you the flexibility to work from a space that suits you best while collaborating effectively with our outpatient office team. Although your primary working hours are from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, some flexibility may be necessary based on patient needs and appointments. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to accurately evaluate patients’ trauma histories and determine the effective treatment modalities tailored to their unique needs.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery, focusing on resilience-building and empowering patients to face their challenges.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to optimize patient outcomes.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, guiding patients through their therapeutic journey, enhancing coping strategies, and nurturing their healing process.

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and other mental health professionals, to deliver integrated, holistic care to our clients.

• Provide crisis intervention and support, effectively managing trauma-related emergencies and ensuring patients receive immediate assistance when needed.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and coping mechanisms, equipping them with resources that promote recovery beyond therapy sessions.

• Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards by maintaining accurate, confidential documentation and participating in regular team meetings and case consultations.

• Stay abreast of advancements in trauma therapy and best practices to enhance the quality of care delivered to our clients.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is essential.

• A valid and current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of New Jersey is required.

• Your background should include a strong foundation in trauma-related disorders and treatment modalities, with particular emphasis on resilience-building approaches.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to therapy are essential.
