Key Responsibilities\n

As a Mental Health Counselor at Turning Leaf Mind Rehab Consultation, LLC, your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate the trauma history of patients and to develop tailored treatment approaches.

• Designing and implementing individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, resilience-building, and the unique needs of each patient.

• Providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Leading individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process their trauma and develop effective coping strategies.

• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic and integrated care approach.

• Offering crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies to ensure immediate and effective assistance for patients in distress.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in New Jersey.

• At least two years of relevant post-licensure experience in the mental health field, particularly with trauma-focused care.

• A strong foundation in trauma-related disorders, trauma-informed treatment modalities, and approaches aimed at building resilience.

• Experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions, demonstrating a commitment to enhancing patient outcomes.
