This position allows for a remote work setting, providing you with the flexibility to deliver care while promoting work-life balance. The clinic operates primarily during standard business hours, from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility to accommodate patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to accurately gauge patients' mental health histories, identifying the nuanced impacts of trauma on their well-being.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery, resilience, and overall mental health improvement.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, fostering a safe space for patients to process trauma, share their experiences, and build coping strategies.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, social workers, and other mental health professionals to provide integrated care tailored to each patient.

• Provide crisis intervention and support to patients experiencing trauma-related emergencies or acute distress.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping strategies, and community resources available for support.

• Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards by maintaining accurate and confidential documentation of patient interactions and progress.

• Participate in ongoing professional development activities, enhancing your knowledge of trauma-informed care and keeping abreast of the latest research in the field.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on individuals who have experienced trauma, including those suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. You will engage with a diverse clientele that may come from various backgrounds, emphasizing cultural competence and sensitivity in your treatment delivery.

Qualifications\n

• Hold a Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Possess a current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in New Jersey.

• Demonstrate at least 2 years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting, preferably with a focus on trauma.
\n
• Exhibit strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders and resilient-building approaches within a therapeutic context.

• Show proficiency in the use of electronic health record (EHR) systems to maintain patient documentation and data integrity.

• Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate approach to patient care and collaboration.

• Experience delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions, with demonstrable outcomes for patients.

Compensation and Benefits\n
