Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough preliminary evaluations and maintain detailed case documentation from the initial consultation through ongoing treatment.

• Evaluate clients’ mental, emotional, and behavioral health using the latest evidence-based practices in therapy.
\n
• Develop individualized treatment and intervention plans tailored to the specific needs of individuals, couples, families, and groups seeking support.
\n
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, employing various therapeutic modalities to effectively address diverse needs.
\n
• Monitor and assess client progress throughout the treatment process, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure positive outcomes.
\n
• Collaborate with a diverse team of mental health professionals, including doctors, nurses, and social workers, to create comprehensive intervention plans.
\n
• Coordinate with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers for clients requiring hospitalization and post-discharge follow-up.
\n
• Utilize proactive strategies to identify and address behaviors that may hinder recovery efforts.
\n
• Support family members and primary caregivers in effectively managing their loved ones' mental health challenges.

Our clientele at Zencare comprises a wide range of individuals seeking mental health support, including those experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and various behavioral health conditions. The role provides an opportunity for counselors to work closely with diverse populations, tailoring interventions to meet the unique cultural and contextual needs of each client.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMFT, LPC, or LCSW) in the state of New Jersey.
\n
• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• Demonstrated understanding of best practices and therapeutic modalities pertinent to mental health counseling.
\n
• Prior experience in mental health counseling, preferably within a community health or clinical setting.

Preferred Experience\n

• Proficiency with electronic health record systems, specifically AVATAR, for managing client documentation and tracking treatment progress.

• Background in working with clients who have co-occurring addiction disorders and physical health issues.
\n
• Knowledge of the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) standards and ethical practices.

• Exceptional communication skills, demonstrated by a strong ability to convey complex concepts to clients in an accessible manner.

• A nurturing, empathetic approach to counseling, fostering relationships built on trust and respect.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this full-time position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually , commensurate with experience. Additionally, new hires may receive a sign-on bonus. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including:
