Development Associate

Full-Time Position 

Equality New York (EQNY) is an advocacy organization that unites and amplifies the social and political voices of the LGBTQI communities throughout New York State. We work to advance equality and justice for LGBTQI New Yorkers and their families. EQNY uses an intersectional lens to ensure equitable outcomes for our community.

Roles & Responsibilities: 

• Produce: Write, edit, and submit LOIs, proposals, and reports;
• Manage: Develop and update a grants calendar and cultivate a pipeline of grants and corporate donors;
• Maintain: Weekly e-newsletter;
• Create: Prospect and donor research reports;
• Events: Assist with any event planning and scheduling 
• Report fundraising campaigns and funding updates to Executive Director & Board of Directors 

Job Requirements:

• A minimum of four years of fundraising and development;
• Live in New York State;
• Dedicated to using a racial equity lens;

Position contingent on grant funding (minimum of 1 year guaranteed)
