Radiology - X-Ray Tech

Radiologic TechnologistThe primary responsibilities of the Radiologic Technologist include positioning patients for imaging procedures involving the chest, hand, wrist, forearm, elbow, knee, foot, or ankle to prepare for x-ray. The technologist will perform imaging procedures independently, operate X-ray equipment, process images, and document them into the PACS system.The Radiologic Technologist will also provide basic patient care under the supervision of the clinic nurse, which may include:Obtaining vital signsAssisting patients in exam roomsCollecting specimens, including blood draws if qualifiedPreparing patients for clinician evaluationsAssisting clinicians during proceduresAdditionally, the technologist will ensure the area is orderly and adequately stocked with supplies and equipment. There may be occasions to assist in Main Radiology as needed.QualificationsCurrent full Certificate of Radiologic Technology issued by the Department of Health Services, State of California (CRT)Current CPR CertificationCalifornia-issued Fluoroscopy PermitCurrent ARRT licensureExperience with EPIC EMRPrevious traveler experience preferredShift InformationThis position requires an 8-hour shift starting at 8:00 AM. Weekend scheduling may be required, and holiday coverage is mandatory.Experience RequirementsMinimum of 1 year of experience is required.CertificationsBLS/BCLS CertificationARRT(R) Certification
