Lifeguard Position at Tuckers Cove Town CenterTuckers Cove Town Center, located in Punta Gorda, FL, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Lifeguard! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you'll contribute to a global leader in golf and community management. Pay Rate: $24.00 per hour, Part-time and Full-time positions available.Key Responsibilities of the Lifeguard:Supervises and observes swimmers at all times to ensure their safety.Administers first aid to minor injuries such as small cuts and bruises of swimmers.Maintains amenities in and cleanliness of changing rooms, bathrooms and showers.Assists in organizing clinics and private swimming lessons for members as directed by department manager.Enforces the rules of conduct.Performs pool maintenance to include checking chemicals and pool vacuuming.Checks the first aid supplies and reports needed items to management in a timely fashion.Organizes and monitors pool games at all times; suggests pool-side games.Skims bugs and other debris from surface to prepare pool for daily use, empties automatic skimmer.Cleans up and organizes pool area at the end of the day.Maintains all necessary records determined by the department manager.Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.Minimum Qualifications for the Lifeguard:Minimum of two (2) years of lifeguarding experience.CPR, First Aid Certification, various Water Safety/Instructor Certifications required.Must be 16 years of age or older.Other Qualifications:Regular and reliable attendance.Knowledge of accepted sanitation standards and applicable health codes.This job description is not an exclusive or exhaustive list of all job functions that an associate in this position may be asked to perform from time to time.Benefits & Other Compensation: This position includes eligibility for the following benefits, subject to applicable plan terms:Healthcare Benefits – Medical, Dental, and Vision coverageRetirement Benefits – 401(k) with employer match (19 years of age and older)Eligibility for benefits and the specific terms, conditions, and offerings are governed by the applicable plan of documents and company policies, which may be amended at the Company's discretion.About Troon:Founded in 1990 and headquartered in Scottsdale, AZ, Troon is the world's largest professional club management company, that specializes in services in golf, hospitality, and residential communities.
