What You'll Do

As our Medical Records Assistant, you'll play an important role in keeping patient care running smoothly by:

• Processing medical record requests accurately and securely
• Maintaining patient records within our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system
• Responding to requests from providers, hospitals, insurance companies, and authorized third parties
• Retrieving archived medical records when needed
• Supporting quality improvement initiatives
• Assisting patient outreach efforts
• Collaborating with providers and clinical staff to ensure excellent patient care
• Maintaining medical records supplies and office equipment
• Helping wherever needed to support the success of the team

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent

Strong attention to detail

Excellent organizational and multitasking skills

Basic computer and keyboarding skills

Outstanding communication and customer service abilities

Bonus Points If You Have

Previous healthcare or medical office experience

Experience working with Electronic Medical Records (EMR)

Compensation

$21.50–$25.25 per hour Competitive pay based on your experience and qualifications.
