Overview Central Maine Healthcare is an integrated healthcare delivery system serving 400,000 people living in central, western and Midcoastal Maine. Responsibilities This position encompasses working with experienced team members, Interventional Cardiologists, Electrophysiologists, and Vascular Surgeons in a hospital setting. The Radiological Technologist performs a variety of imaging procedures and is responsible for patient safety protocols. Functions as the first line interface with customers in the successful accomplishment of their imaging needs. Provides direct and indirect supervision of Radiologic Technology students. Participates in CQI activities. Participates in on call, weekend and holiday schedules. Our cardiologists, cardiovascular surgeons and other skilled professionals provide specialty care to inpatients at CMHVI and Central Maine Medical Center. Qualifications Education and Experience: Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology. State of Maine Radiologic Technologist License Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. ARRT certification. Licensed by the state of Maine to practice and administer radiation. Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification required. Renewal due within one month of expiration.
