DXP Enterprises, Inc. (Houston, TX) seeks Applications Engineer to evaluate system specifications and parameters and size/select appropriate pump & auxiliary equipment for applications, customer bid requirements & specifications. Prepare proposals using vendor software, sales catalogs & cost estimates according to technical and performance requirements. Provide technical support to customers on product selection / application issues. Solicit and evaluate Technical / Commercial quotes for equipment. Prepare comprehensive professional proposals. Register-follow up on Sales Proposals. Monitor and manage in-house orders & provide sales support & follow up on fabrication milestones.

Requires an BS in Mechanical Engineering or foreign equivalent with 6 months of relevant experience & knowledge using API 610 and ANSI B73.1 specifications.
