About the Role

This position combines B2B customer service, order management, and sales support in a technical manufacturing environment. You will serve as a key point of contact for distributor customers, helping them navigate everything from order placement and pricing requests to product questions, returns, and order discrepancies.

Beyond working directly with customers, you'll partner closely with the internal sales team to ensure orders are processed accurately, open items are followed through, and customer needs are addressed efficiently. We're looking for someone who enjoys both sides of the role: building relationships and solving problems with customers while staying organized, managing details, and keeping internal processes on track.

What You'll Do

• Customer Relationship Management: Serve as a primary point of contact for B2B distributor accounts, responding to inquiries regarding orders, pricing, product availability, and delivery timelines.
• Order Entry & Processing: Enter and manage customer orders in SAP, verifying pricing, quantities, product information, and shipping details to ensure accuracy.
• Quotes & Product Inquiries: Prepare customer quotes, assist with pricing requests, and coordinate product-related questions with the appropriate internal teams.
• Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve order discrepancies, shipment issues, returns, and other customer concerns, communicating clearly throughout the resolution process.
• Sales Team Support: Work closely with sales representatives to support customer accounts, follow up on open quotes and orders, and help maintain strong customer relationships.
• Order Coordination: Partner with internal departments to address order delays, confirm product availability, and keep orders moving through the fulfillment process.
• Documentation & Data Accuracy: Maintain accurate customer records, order information, and system updates in SAP and other internal tools.
• Proactive Follow-Up: Identify missing information, address potential issues before they escalate, and ensure customers and internal stakeholders stay informed.

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service, order management, sales support, or a similar role within a manufacturing or distribution environment.
• Hands-on SAP experience.
• Previous experience working with technical products in a B2B manufacturing or distribution setting.
• Experience supporting a sales team/department.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the confidence to work directly with customers and collaborate with internal teams.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple orders, requests, and priorities simultaneously.
• A proactive, solution-oriented mindset and the ability to follow through on issues until they're resolved.
