Registered Nurse (RN) - Surgery

Duties: 

• Serve as the circulating nurse during surgical procedures.
• Prepare the operating room and ensure required equipment, instruments, and supplies are available.
• Verify patient identity, surgical site, consent, and required documentation.
• Assist with patient positioning and maintain patient safety throughout surgical procedures.
• Coordinate communication between surgeons, anesthesia providers, scrub staff, and other members of the surgical team.

Qualifications: 

• Minimum of 2 years of Surgery and Operating Room Circulating RN experience – required
• Current North Carolina RN license or Compact RN license with North Carolina endorsement – required
• Strong knowledge of perioperative and operating room nursing practices.

Important Experience Requirements:

Candidates must have direct Operating Room Circulating RN experience .

Candidates whose experience is primarily limited to the following areas  cannot be considered for this position:

• Pre-Op
• Post-Op
• Endoscopy/GI
• PACU

Compensation: $28.00-$39.00/HR
