Phlebotomist II

Location: Alpena, MI

Pay Rate: $25/hr

Employment Type: Contingent

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:30pm

What You'll Do

• Perform venipuncture and capillary collections with a high level of accuracy and patient care

• Verify patient demographics and ensure proper labeling of specimens in the patient's presence

• Prepare, process, and transport specimens according to established procedures

• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all compliance and safety standards

• Provide excellent customer service while creating a comfortable and professional environment for patients

• Support both clinical and forensic specimen collection as required

• Adapt to working across patient service centers or physician office locations based on business needs

What We're Looking For

• A current, up-to-date resume

• High school diploma or equivalent (medical assistant or paramedic training preferred)

• Minimum 3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric and geriatric collections

• Strong customer service and communication skills

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a high-volume setting

• Reliable transportation with flexibility to travel between locations as needed

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing demands

• Keyboard/data entry proficiency

• Ability to meet compliance requirements
