Immediately Kankakee School District 111 is seeking candidates interested in serving in the position(s) of Substitute Custodian. Substitute Custodians are non-permanent positions subject to assignment on an as-needed basis, with reassignment based on performance and needs of the School District.
Ideal candidates must be willing to work flexible hours/shifts for short- and long-term assignments; and, possess:
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Custodian and/or facilities experience in a school environment
- Good client/customer service skills and exemplary work ethic
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Ability to work effectively with a team
- Ability to work independently as needed
- Basic knowledge of cleaning products
- Ability to be able to lift 35 lbs.
- Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, twist, push, pull, and reach
- Hourly Rate of Pay: $15.00
