Customer Support Specialist

Olive Tree People is looking for an experienced and Customer Support Specialist to join our growing team and serve as a key resource for our customers, consultants, and Sales organization. In this role, you will be more than just a point of contact. You will help solve problems, build strong relationships, support our Sales organization, and contribute to the overall customer experience. You’ll work across departments to resolve complex issues, support business initiatives, and help ensure our customers and consultants receive knowledgeable, timely, and thoughtful support. What You’ll Do Provide professional, timely, and empathetic support to customers and consultants while maintaining a 24-hour response-time SLA Support customers through email and live chat. Resolve account, order, shipping, payment, product, and consultant-related questions Investigate complex issues and provide thoughtful, policy-aligned solutions Explain consultant compensation plans, commissions, bonuses, and incentive programs clearly and accurately Help consultants understand commission statements, qualification requirements, and account activity Accurately document customer and consultant interactions in Zendesk Manage orders and customer information through Shopify Research consultant accounts and business activity using Exigo Review reports and data for accuracy, identify discrepancies, and investigate recurring issues Help identify opportunities to improve processes and the customer experience Meet established productivity, quality, and reporting deadlines Maintain the confidentiality and integrity of customer, consultant, and company information Support product launches, promotions, and other high-volume business initiatives What You Bring 3 years of experience in Customer Support, Sales Support, or Customer Experience Hands-on experience with Zendesk Hands-on experience with Shopify Experience using Exigo Experience supporting customers through email and live chat. Experience explaining commissions, compensation plans, bonuses, or incentive programs Experience training, coaching, mentoring, or onboarding team members Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy Strong organizational and time-management skills Experience working with operational reports, spreadsheets, and data Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Availability to work one weekend day as part of a regular weekly schedule Nice to Have Experience supporting a direct selling, network marketing, affiliate, or social selling organization Experience in beauty, wellness, luxury, or consumer products Experience supporting international customers or consultants Knowledge of consultant genealogy, commissions, enrollment processes, and promotional programs Experience interpreting and communicating compensation plans The Person We’re Looking For You are someone who: Takes ownership from the initial question through resolution Approaches challenges with a positive, solution-oriented mindset Communicates with empathy, confidence, and clarity Can turn complex information into simple, easy-to-understand explanations Is highly collaborative and enjoys working across departments Double-checks details and takes pride in accurate work Is comfortable investigating discrepancies and identifying root causes Remains calm and professional when handling escalated situations Demonstrates accountability, consistency, accuracy, and integrity Thrives in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change Why This Role Matters As a Customer Support Specialist, you will play an important role in creating a positive experience for our customers and consultants while supporting the growth and success of our Sales organization.
