Travel RN - Emergency Dept Weatherford, Texas Assignment Overview Shift: Nights, 3x12hrs Hours: 36 hrs/wk Start Date: ASAP Length: 13 weeks Openings: 1 Actual start date is typically 3-4 weeks from time the offer is received. Start dates are determined based on facility needs and credentialing requirements. Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a Texas or compact RN license and a minimum of 2 years of ED experience. Details Work in a 23-bed Emergency Department Patient ratio of 4:1 Level IV trauma center, primary stroke center, and Chest Pain Accredited facility with 24/7 PCI capability for STEMI All-RN nursing staff with techs and secretary support at the lobby Night shift schedule from 7PM to 7AM Every other weekend required No on-call requirements Floating as needed Requirements Active Texas RN license required; temporary licenses will not be accepted Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience required Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC, and NIHSS Meditech experience preferred US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months Additional Information Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity Emergency Department setting Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; no local candidates accepted Royal blue scrubs required for RNs Professional appearance standards enforced including nail, hair, tattoo, and piercing policies Non-absorbent, slip-resistant shoes required; breathable mesh athletic shoes not permitted Pay $1,966/wk Assignment Total (13 Weeks) $25,558 Annual Equivalent (52 Weeks) $102,232 Weekly Breakdown Weekly Wages $720/wk Regular Hours $20.00 x 36 hours/wk = $720 Weekly Stipends $1,246/wk Lodging $110.00 x 7 days = $770 Meals & Incidentals
