DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION:

The Davis Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Baystate Children’s Hospital is the region’s only Level III NICU, staffed by neonatologists, neonatal nurse practitioners, residents, pediatric subspecialists, respiratory therapists, and neonatal nutritionists who care for our littlest patients around the clock. Continuing Care Nursery is part of the NICU – infants go there to be monitored after they graduate from NICU. Benefits for you! Schedule Full Time nights 7 PM – 7 AM Rotating weekends and holidays Qualifications Successfully passed Board of Registration in Nursing Examination and is licensed in Massachusetts. Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider CPR certification required. Minimum 2 years of inpatient RN experience required; 2 years of mother/baby or NICU experience preferred. Education Diploma in Nursing (Required) Certifications Basic Life Support – American Heart Association (American Heart Association, Registered Nurse – State of Massachusetts) Compensation Note: The compensation range(s) in the following table represent the base salaries for all positions at a given grade across the health system. Typically, a new hire can expect a starting salary somewhere in the lower part of the range. Actual salaries may vary by position and are determined based on the candidate’s relevant experience. No employee will be paid below the minimum of the range. Pay ranges are listed as hourly for non‑exempt employees and based on assumed full‑time commitment for exempt employees.
