New Glenn Sr. Regulatory Compliance Engineer

At Blue Origin, we envision millions of people living and working in space for the benefit of Earth. This role supports the development and operations of NewGlenn, a heavy‑lift orbital launch vehicle, by managing regulatory compliance across USSF, FAA, and environmental approvals. Responsibilities Develop and maintain regulatory compliance strategy for New Glenn program, including US Space Force real property agreements, FAA vehicle operator licenses, and NEPA environmental review documents. Lead coordination of regulatory efforts to support vehicle schedule and launch operations. Build and sustain positive relationships with USSF, FAA, Coast Guard, NASA, and other government partners. Produce, review, and manage compliance products for facility construction/modification and vehicle operations. Provide leadership and strategic guidance in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment while fostering teamwork. Qualifications B.S. degree in engineering, science, or equivalent technical management field. Proven experience on large‑scale aerospace development program. Demonstrable experience with USSF, FAA, and other US government requirements for launch vehicles, payloads, and launch sites. Team‑based work style with excellent communication, coordination, and judgment. Strong product ownership track record and ability to build trust and inclusive relationships. Experience with collaboration tools such as Confluence and JIRA. Compensation California: $145,188.00–$203,263.20 Colorado: $133,500.00–$186,898.95 Washington: $145,188.00–$203,263.20 Other sites: ranges may differ.
