ASE Master Certified- Technical Support Specialist 1

Location and Schedule Smyrna, TN. Full‑time hybrid (Monday‑Thursday onsite, Friday remote). No travel required. Job Title Techline Support Specialist I Job Overview Provide support to dealership service technicians by responding to Technical Line and Chat Line inquiries, documenting incidents, and conveying technical information for diagnosis and repair of Nissan and Infiniti vehicles. Key Responsibilities Reply to Technical Line cases via email or phone, and respond to Chat Line messages from dealership service technicians. Provide technical information on diagnosis and repair of customer vehicles. Collect and document technical information on new vehicle incidents requiring repairs. Prepare incident reports for engineering investigation. Assist dealership technicians with vehicle maintenance, service or repair questions. Document all cases with required information, search the database for similar matches, update existing reports and close out completed cases. Analyze decisions from the customer's viewpoint and recommend actions that align with customer needs and corporate values. Collect feedback from dealership technicians on countermeasure procedures for Nissan North America departments. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams across functions, regions and affiliates to meet reporting requirements. Perform other related duties as needed. Required Qualifications ASE Master Certification (A1–A8) or OEM Master Certification in automotive technology. Three or more years of automotive retail repair experience, plus at least one year of directly related professional level experience. AA degree preferred, or equivalent technical coursework and training. Strong knowledge of maintenance and repair for Nissan and Infiniti vehicles. Proficient with technical service manuals and tools. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Computer skills: word processor, spreadsheet, and general PC applications; typing speed of 30 wpm or better.
