Summary:
\nThe Human Resources Generalist provides day-to-day HR support. This role serves as a resource for employees and managers and assists with recruiting, benefits, leave administration, employee relations, HRIS, and company policies. The HR Generalist works closely with the HR team to help ensure a positive employee experience and consistent HR practices.
\n \nDescription and Responsibilities:
\nOur client is seeking an Human Resources Generalist. They are looking for a promotable leader who thrives at being a hands-on leader. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
\n- \n
- Manage day-to-day benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, qualifying events, and employee questions. \n
- Coordinate employee leaves, including FMLA, STD, PFL, and other leave requests, ensuring timely documentation and communication. \n
- Provide first-line HR support for employee relations matters, performance concerns, and corrective action. \n
- Partner with managers and employees to ensure consistent application of HR policies and procedures. \n
- Maintain accurate HRIS records, monitor Paycom transactions, and assist with reporting, audits, and data cleanup. \n
- Identify HR trends and compliance issues, troubleshoot benefits/HRIS concerns, and escalate more complex matters to HR leadership. \n
Qualifications:
\nThe qualified candidate will possess most of the following traits:
\n- \n
- 3+ years of progressive HR/Generalist experience preferred \n
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience \n
- Experience with benefits, leave administration, and HRIS systems \n
- Strong communication, organization, documentation, and attention to detail \n
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, support employee relations, and work in a fast-paced environment \n
