Senior Transportation Project Manager

Responsibilities Maintain design team productivity and efficiency throughout the project lifecycle. Manage consultant design services and internal audits of consultant work. Lead design progress meetings, track action items, and coordinate with project engineers and stakeholders. Coordinate multi-discipline design work to prevent conflicts, interferences, and errors/omissions. Support oversight of large multi-disciplinary design efforts as needed. Finalize and issue bid documents, complete QA/QC, and secure required approvals and permits. Coordinate technical design workflows to ensure timely processing of submittals and RFIs for assigned project areas. Develop and finalize project scope, schedule, and design-services budget; lead technical project delivery to meet approved parameters. Ensure technical delivery aligns with scope, schedule, and budget. Requirements Essential Skills and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field Florida Professional Engineer (PE) license required Minimum of 10+ years of roadway design experience Strong knowledge of NEPA processes and FDOT PD&E requirements Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Experience managing budgets, schedules, and multidisciplinary teams Experience coordinating public involvement programs and environmental documentation Familiarity with FDOT ETDM process and permitting requirements Curiosity and interest in continuous learning in AI and comfort experimenting and iterating quickly; uses data to validate ideas and measure impact.
