About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Growth Officer (CGO) to take on a pivotal senior executive leadership role focused on driving strategic revenue growth and business development. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive strategies to expand the organization's portfolio of partnerships, programs, and revenue-generating initiatives. This includes leading efforts to identify and pursue new business opportunities, expanding strategic relationships with industry partners and foundations, and establishing frameworks for sustainable revenue growth. The CGO will also be tasked with cultivating innovation, particularly in the area of bridging the gap between research and commercialization, and will oversee the development and management of grant programs that support the organization's mission. Applicants for the CGO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with an MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred, and a minimum of 15 years of progressive leadership experience in sales, business development, or partnership management. The role requires a candidate with a proven track record in revenue generation, experience in mission-driven organizations, and the ability to balance business objectives with organizational values. Essential qualifications include exceptional relationship management, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills, as well as strong leadership capabilities. The ideal candidate will also have a deep understanding of enterprise technologies that support business development, with experience in Salesforce CRM and data governance best practices being a plus.
