Staff AccountantAs a Staff Accountant, you will play an essential role in supporting the financial health and integrity of the organization. This entry-level accounting position focuses on day-to-day financial activities, including maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and supporting monthly and year-end close processes. You'll work closely with other members of the accounting team to ensure financial accuracy, support compliance, and contribute to process improvement initiatives across the department.Position LogisticsPrimary Work Location: West Fargo, ND Corporate OfficeWork Environment: On-SiteWork Schedule: Monday - Friday | Standard HoursWork Type: Full Time (40 hours/week)Position ResponsibilitiesAssist with timely monthly, quarterly, half-year, and year-end close processesPrepare journal entries and accruals, ensuring completeness and accuracyPrepare and maintain monthly balance sheets, income statements, and profit and loss statementsPerform general ledger reviews and account reconciliationsAssist with monthly financial statement analysis and reportingAccounts Payable & Transactional SupportVerify and process invoices to ensure timely and accurate payment of accounts payableEnsure proper coding and allocation of expenses to the appropriate accountsMaintain records of financial transactions in accordance with company policiesFixed Assets & Capital AccountingTrack capital purchases, fixed assets, and building improvementsMaintain fixed asset schedules and ensure proper depreciation entriesCompliance, Policies & Special ProjectsEnsure all financial transactions are recorded in compliance with legal and internal standardsMonitor and support accounting procedures within assigned departmentsIdentify and recommend opportunities for improving accounting processesPrepare special financial reports and analysis as requested by management.We're Seeking Individuals Who Have:Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (intermediate level), experience with fixed asset software and ERP systems is a plus.Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and a commitment to accuracy in all aspects of financial management.Collaboration: Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, with a professional approach to managing sensitive and confidential information.Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively across departments and manage professional business relationships.Professional Growth: Eagerness to learn new skills, expand accounting knowledge, and grow within the profession.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related fieldMinimum of 1 year of general accounting experienceIntermediate Microsoft Excel skills preferredExperience using a fixed asset software is a plusJoin Enclave and be part of a dynamic team that's shaping the future of real estate, construction, and property management.
