Overview Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices - Automotive Assistant & Service Managers Responsibilities — Assistant Manager Support the Store Manager to ensure the retail location operates efficiently, safely and effectively. Enforce established policies, procedures and standards. Schedule mechanics and technicians’ work, manage outside orders, and ensure the quality and timely completion of jobs. Meet customer expectations and maintain the safety of team members. Responsibilities — Service Manager Direct the workflow of Mechanics, Alignment Technicians and Tire Technicians; stage vehicle repair and maintenance work. Assist customers with tire selections and recommend necessary under-car repair services. Drive sales initiatives and communicate with customers to assess needs and provide information about repairs and maintenance. Qualifications Be at least 18 years of age. Be legally authorized to work in the United States. Possess (i) 1 year of experience and/or training in automotive parts and/or tire sales, (ii) 1 year of experience and/or training in automotive repairs/maintenance, or (iii) any combination of education, training, and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.
