Las Vegas, Nevada - Pediatric Emergency Medicine

Start Date: ASAP Position: Full-Time, Permanent Location Requirement: May require residency within the immediate local area; relocation may be required.

Hospital & Pediatric Services

• 34-bed pediatric floor with an average daily census of 24.
• 12-bed PICU covered by affiliated Pediatric Intensivists.
• NICU and newborn nursery managed by an affiliated neonatology team.
• Full pediatric subspecialty support.
• Dedicated Pediatric ED.
• Academic affiliation with opportunities to teach pediatric residents and medical students.

Schedule & Clinical Responsibilities

• Schedule includes inpatient rounding with call from home.
• Current or recent inpatient hospital experience is required.
• Minimum 1 year of current inpatient Hospitalist experience required.
• Must be able to provide 12 months of case logs from a hospital setting at interview.

Requirements

• Truly Board Eligible within 5 years of eligibility or Board Certified in Pediatric Emergency Medicine.
• Active Nevada medical license.
• Minimum 1 year of current inpatient work experience.
• Active DEA.
• CSR/CDS required.
