Practice Info Part of the Institute for Health & Healing (IHH) at Sutter Health, a pioneer in integrative health care since 1994. Mission-driven, philanthropy-based community and employee-care program dedicated to whole-person wellness. Team-based model emphasizing team collaboration, prevention, and personalized healing journeys. Expansive and diverse integrative health team including 4 primary-care integrative medicine physicians, 3 nurse practitioners, 2 specialty integrative medicine physicians, chiropractor, 2 acupuncturists, 2 massage therapists, nutritionist, and 2 psychotherapists. Outpatient setting; no inpatient or call responsibilities. Work within a premier multi-specialty medical group (Sutter West Bay Medical Group & Sutter Pacific Medical Foundation). Responsibilities Incorporate both conventional and complementary therapies—including nutrition, mind-body practices, supplements, and lifestyle medicine—into personalized treatment plans. Serve as a physician consultant for patients referred by Sutter colleagues or community providers who are seeking integrative approaches to complex or chronic conditions. Support continuity and quality of care by maintaining accurate, timely documentation within the electronic health record. Participate in community education, employee wellness programs, and philanthropic initiatives promoting whole-person health. Compensation $230,000 - $320,000 /Yr. Benefits CME allowance Relocation assistance Shift & Schedule Full-time position, .8–1.0 FTE (flexible within that range). Requirements MD or DO from an accredited medical school. Completion of an accredited residency (family medicine, internal medicine, or specialty). Formal fellowship training (1–2 years) or certification in Integrative Medicine, Functional Medicine (IFM), or a similar program (preferred). Experience integrating complementary modalities such as acupuncture, nutrition, mind-body medicine, herbal medicine, mindfulness, or yoga therapy (preferred). Board Certification in Integrative Medicine through the American Board of Integrative Medicine (ABOIM) or completion of an approved fellowship in Integrative Medicine (highly preferred).
