Your role and responsibilities:

The Sales Support Specialist is responsible for supporting the Sales organization and customers for the NEMA products. The Sales Support Specialist will support business growth through technical support to customers, sales units and other ABB divisions during the pre-and post-sale stages.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, district offices, engineering, and manufacturing teams, resolving order inquiries, product questions, and system-related issues.
• Coordinate expedited orders, hot-shot shipments, product inspections, and specification changes while ensuring clear communication across customers and internal stakeholders.
• Create custom product configurations and quotations, support domestic and international order fulfillment, and manage logistics to ensure on-time delivery.
• Lead cross-functional customer support activities including specification reviews, vendor/customer setup, credit approvals, NEMA motor replacement recommendations, issue resolution, and project tracking coordination.

Qualifications for the role:

• High School Diploma or GED with minimum 2 years relevant experience - Required. Associate's or Bachelor's Degree with NEMA or electrical motor product background - Preferred
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel.
• Additional Preferred Experience Includes: Working knowledge of Baldor's SAP, OMS, VIP4, and other company's electronic tools - Understanding of manufacturing concepts, processes, Flex-Flow and Lean concepts - Understand international laws, trade compliance, and US export, incoterms and exchange rates and ABB intercompany/international trade and routing practices
• Candidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
