Position Overview:

• Pediatrician Opening with Leadership Responsibilities
• Outpatient Schedule
• Rotated Newborn Rounding at Bethesda Hospital
• No Call Schedule
• EMR: eClinical Works
• Bilingual in Spanish is preferred

What does a Clinician Lead do?

• Provides direct patient care
• Maintains awareness of practice policies and procedures
• Communicates the mission and goals of the organization
• Supervision of clinician associates
• Fosters teamwork within the offices
• Leads the office in the recruitment and engagement of new clinicians
• $12,000 annual lead stipend

Education, Licensure & Certification:

• M.D. or D.O. degree required
• Successful completion of an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or American Osteopathic Association (AOA) approved post-graduate residency, or equivalent in Pediatrics
• Current, Unrestricted license to practice medicine or the ability to obtain in the State of Florida
• Current, Unrestricted DEA license or the ability to obtain in the State ofFlorida
• Board Eligible or Board Certification in Pediatrics within five years of completing training
• Meets all requirements to obtain medical staff membership and privileges as required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) as required for hospital appointment
