Basic Job Functions:
Assists workers engaged in the fabrication of structural or sheet metal products by performing any combination of the following tasks: Lifts, positions, and removes workpieces from machines to assist in fitting.
Loads, stacks, and transports stock, tools, dies, and work-in-progress by hand or truck.
Cuts material using a saw cutting machine; a bandsaw cutting, particularly cutting multiple dimensions of square tubing, including structural channel. Might work on I-Beam cutting as well.
Reads drawings and blueprints.
Understand and follow safety procedures and guidelines.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
Previous manufacturing experience or saw operating experience.
Able to work 1012-hour rotational shifts as needed, overtime, weekends, and holidays.
Able to lift 50 lbs.
Ability to work with hand tools.
Being able to read a tape measure.
Preferred Qualifications:
1-2 years of experience working in a machine shop environment.
