Logistics Coordinator – Imports

This is a temporary position (3-4 months) working a hybrid schedule (3 days onsite)

Pay: $23–$28/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Process import documentation through the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) portal.
• Process ACH duty payments accurately and in a timely manner.
• Handle CF28 and CF29 requests and gather required information for submission.
• Analyze and validate import documentation to ensure compliance with U.S. Customs and Partner Government Agency (PGA) requirements.
• Maintain import records and documentation in accordance with CBP regulations and company policies.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for customer accounts, responding promptly to inquiries and resolving issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate shipment processing.
• Manage and maintain customer Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) databases.
• Ensure compliance with applicable customs laws, regulations, and company procedures.
• Support operational excellence by maintaining high standards for accuracy, timeliness, and customer service.
• Develop expertise in customs brokerage processes and account management best practices.
• Identify and escalate compliance or operational concerns as needed.
• Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, freight forwarding, import/export operations, customs brokerage, or related industries.
• Experience working with import documentation, customs processes, or international logistics.
• Customs Broker License or customs brokerage experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel.
• Ability to operate standard office equipment and work effectively in a professional office environment.
