This is a full-time, on-site Kitchen Staff role based in Miami, FL. The Kitchen Staff member will assist with daily food preparation, including assembling menu items, preparing ingredients, and supporting cooking activities according to established recipes and standards.

Responsibilities include maintaining a clean and organized work area, following food safety and hygiene procedures, and properly storing ingredients and supplies. The role will support service by preparing dishes in a timely manner, restocking stations, washing and organizing kitchen tools, and coordinating with front-of-house team members to ensure smooth operations. Kitchen Staff members are expected to uphold quality standards, follow instructions from kitchen leadership, contribute to a positive, team-oriented workplace and complete daily food preparation and mise en place tasks, including preparing ingredients, portioning products, stocking stations, and ensuring all necessary items are ready for service. These responsibilities are essential to maintaining efficient kitchen operations and supporting overall team performance.
Kitchen Staff members must maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the kitchen, assist with opening and closing duties, and contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment.
Kitchen Staff members are also responsible for supporting dishwashing operations, including washing, sanitizing, drying, and properly organizing dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment in accordance with health and safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Food Preparation and Cooking skills, with the ability to follow recipes and portion guidelines accurately.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and Hygiene practices in a commercial kitchen environment.
• Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to coordinate with team members and support a positive guest experience when needed.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and carry supplies, and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
• Reliability, punctuality, and a collaborative attitude, with openness to feedback and learning new techniques.
• Previous experience in a café, restaurant, or similar food service environment is preferred but not required.

Compensation & Benefits

Starting pay: $14.00 per hour.

Full-time position with opportunities for growth and advancement.
