The Brent Jablonski Allstate Agency in Fox Lake, IL is looking for an experienced, licensed Insurance CSR / Onboarding Specialist to join our team.

We are a long-standing, award-winning Allstate agency recognized for excellence in customer service and results. We help clients protect what matters most through auto, home, renters, life insurance, and financial services while building trusted, long-term relationships.

The ideal candidate has an active Property Casualty license, at least one year of PC insurance experience, and is comfortable discussing personal lines insurance coverage with clients.

You will be a primary point of contact for our existing clients while also taking ownership of the onboarding process for new clients. If you have experience as an Insurance Customer Service Representative, Licensed CSR, Personal Lines Account Manager, Insurance Agent, or Insurance Account Representative, we encourage you to apply.

Compensation Benefits

Base Salary: $40,000–$50,000 per year, depending on experience

We're looking for an experienced insurance professional who genuinely enjoys helping clients.

You should be comfortable answering the phone, welcoming clients into the office, explaining coverage, resolving policy or billing questions, identifying additional insurance needs, and following an issue through until it is completely resolved.

The right person is friendly, dependable, organized, detail-oriented, and proactive. You take ownership of client needs rather than simply processing transactions, and you understand that excellent customer service is one of the most important parts of retaining and growing an insurance agency.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do

Customer Service Policy Support

• Serve as a first point of contact for the agency by answering incoming calls and greeting clients in our Fox Lake office

• Provide friendly, knowledgeable, and professional customer service

• Answer questions regarding auto, home, renters, and other personal insurance policies

• Explain policy coverages, deductibles, limits, and available options

• Advise clients on appropriate coverage based on their needs

• Assist with billing questions, payments, policy changes, documents, and general account servicing

• Process client requests accurately and efficiently

• Identify coverage gaps and opportunities to cross-sell additional insurance products

• Build strong client relationships through proactive communication and follow-up

• Manage multiple insurance systems while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail

New Client Onboarding

You will also be responsible for helping newly written clients make a smooth transition to our agency.

• Welcome new clients and guide them through the onboarding process

• Assist clients with canceling or transitioning their previous insurance policies

• Help update mortgage company and mortgagee information

• Provide updated insurance documents and proof of coverage to mortgage companies and lenders

• Verify that required documents and policy information have been completed

• Follow up with clients on outstanding onboarding items

• Coordinate with the sales team to ensure a smooth transition from the initial sale to ongoing account service

• Make outbound calls to clients to schedule appointments and complete follow-up activities

• Assist the sales team with administrative and client-service duties as needed

Requirements

• Active Property Casualty (PC) Insurance License *REQUIRED*

• Minimum 1 year of Property Casualty insurance experience *REQUIRED*

• Personal lines insurance experience

• Working knowledge of auto and homeowners insurance coverage

• Ability to confidently explain insurance coverage and make recommendations to clients

• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Excellent organization, time management, and follow-through

• Ability to handle multiple client needs and priorities throughout the day

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented insurance agency
