In this role, you will:Advise engineering and program leadership on launcher system design and operationsSupport launch campaigns, readiness reviews, and mission assurance activitiesEvaluate technical risks, anomalies, and corrective actionsReview requirements, interfaces, and integration strategiesProvide expertise on launch vehicle performance, trajectory, and mission constraintsSupport proposal development, customer briefings, and technical strategyMentor systems engineers and launch operations personnelCoordinate across government, customer, and contractor teamsSupport the Launchers both fielded and in development.Support the customer with the fielded launchers both domestic and internationalSupport the Launcher production and field return troubleshootingSupport the development of new Launcher capabilitiesSupport Fire Control and Weapon Systems updates as needed.Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.Basic QualificationsExperience with systems engineering activities including integration and technical analysisDemonstrated ability to lead or support cross-functional technical teams in a mission-focused environmentExperience with THAAD or Patriot LaunchersActive or current Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance.Desired SkillsBachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related technical disciplineJIRA experienceExperience with network configuration and adminstrationProficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practiceActive Top Secret clearancePay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $104900.00 - $194700.00At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
