Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead Salesforce Financial Services Cloud implementation and enhancement initiatives for a financial services client.
The Project Manager will be responsible for overall project delivery, planning, stakeholder communication, risk management, resource coordination, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.
Key Responsibilities- Lead Salesforce Financial Services Cloud implementation and enhancement projects.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
- Manage project scope, timelines, dependencies, risks, and issues.
- Coordinate Salesforce Architects, Developers, BSA, QA, business stakeholders, and vendors.
- Facilitate project meetings, status meetings, sprint reviews, and steering committee meetings.
- Track project progress and provide regular status reporting.
- Manage risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, and change requests.
- Coordinate requirements, development, testing, UAT, deployment, and production support.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to ensure project objectives are achieved.
- Manage project budgets and resources where applicable.
- Ensure project documentation is complete and maintained.
- Support Agile/Scrum delivery practices.
- Escalate project risks and issues appropriately.
- 7+ years of IT Project Management experience.
- Strong experience managing Salesforce projects.
- Experience with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud strongly preferred.
- Experience managing enterprise technology implementations.
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent stakeholder and communication skills.
- Strong experience with project planning, risk management, issue management, and status reporting.
- Experience working with cross-functional technical and business teams.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
- PMP certification.
- Scrum Master or Agile certification.
- Salesforce certification.
- Financial services/banking experience.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar project-management tools.
- Experience managing large enterprise Salesforce implementations.
- US Citizenship is mandatory.
- Must be available to work onsite in Washington, DC 4 days per week.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
