Job Summary: We are seeking a Corporate Actions Analyst to support the day-to-day processing and reconciliation of corporate action events for a dedicated investment client. This is a highly detail-oriented, Excel-focused operations role involving data entry, report review, reconciliation, market data tracking, and processing activities across the full corporate actions lifecycle. The ideal candidate is someone who is analytical, detail-oriented, eager to learn, and comfortable working in a process-driven team environment. Candidates with internship experience or early-career financial services experience are encouraged to apply. This is a 12-month contract with potential for extension or conversion, although not guaranteed. The position is based in Lake Mary, FL, with a hybrid schedule requiring 4 days per week onsite. Standard hours are 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST. Key Responsibilities: Corporate Actions Processing: Support the full lifecycle of mandatory and voluntary corporate actions, including event notification, client response processing, transaction processing, and payment activities. Reconciliation & Reporting: Perform daily reconciliations across cash, securities, and suspense transactions; review reports, identify discrepancies or outliers, research issues, and ensure accurate processing. Event Monitoring & Scrubbing: Monitor corporate action events and perform daily scrubbing, interpretation, and analysis of event details to ensure information is accurate and properly reflected in internal systems. Dividends & Payments: Process and allocate dividend and interest payments, book and release transactions, and reconcile client entitlements to ensure accurate payment processing. Market Data & Research: Collect and track market data, research corporate action events, and evaluate event details to determine appropriate processing and client impact. Client & Internal Communication: Support notifications and respond to inquiries from internal business partners, clients, investment managers, agents, brokers, and other relevant parties as needed. Quality Control: Follow established procedures and quality control measures while maintaining a high level of accuracy across daily processing activities and documentation. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Finance, Business Management, Accounting, or a related discipline. Strong Excel skills, including experience working with large amounts of data and functions such as VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP. Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a highly process-oriented environment. Ability to learn complex processes and systems quickly. Demonstrated ability to take initiative and identify opportunities to improve processes or workflows. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment. Internship experience is acceptable for candidates with limited professional experience. Preferred Experience: 1–2 years of relevant experience in financial services, banking, investment operations, corporate actions, reconciliation, payments, or a related field. Previous Corporate Actions experience, particularly with event processing, dividends, notifications, reconciliations, or entitlements. Experience working with SQL, Python, VBA, or Excel Macros. Experience creating or modifying Excel-based automation. Previous experience working with large datasets and performing detailed data analysis. Financial services or investment operations experience is strongly preferred.
