Join our Parts Authority Team today as a Warehouse Associate. Responsibilities The Warehouse Associate is responsible for receiving, labeling, and storing incoming shipments, assessing stock for damages, maintaining concise inventory records, and accurately filling customer orders. Additional duties include: Receiving, processing, labeling, and storing incoming stock. Maintaining clear records on all inventory and stock. Scanning items into the warehouse management system. Inspecting all stock for damages and keeping records of damages. Organizing the warehouse space. Preparing orders for shipment. Picking orders for shipment. Recording exact arrival and departure times for shipments. Operating stock management tools such as powered industrial equipment and pallet jacks. Counting stock and keeping inventory records. Routine cleaning duties. Interface with management to ensure key objectives are realized. Maintaining safety regulations and compliance with all applicable regulations. Qualifications Minimum Requirements: Accurately follow directions, both written and verbal. Maintain individual productivity and quality standards according to department requirements. Regularly lift, push, pull and/or move objects 10‑50 lbs, and occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 100 lbs. Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and reach. Occasionally required to sit and climb ladders or stairs, or balance. May be subject to environmental conditions and temperature changes. May be required to function in narrow aisles or passageways. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust and focus. Attention to detail. Great communication skills. Time management skills. Ability to work well under pressure. Ability to work well with other staff members and supervisors. Open availability, flexible and able to work various shifts and overtime. 1–2 years of warehouse experience preferred. Familiarity with safety measures in a warehouse. Maintain and promote workplace safety. Experience securing and transferring cash or other assets.
