Accounting Associate

Detail-oriented and organized, the full-time remote Accounting Associate will manage core transactional accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger support, while ensuring accurate and timely financial records. Key responsibilities: Process accounts receivable and payable, including invoicing, vendor onboarding, and timely payment monitoring Assist in the month-end close process by reconciling bank and credit card accounts and preparing journal entries Collaborate with the Finance Director on budget tracking and financial reporting while maintaining organized financial records Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting or a relevant field; an associate's degree with relevant experience will also be considered Experience with Quickbooks Online, Google Sheets, and Excel is required Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks with attention to deadlines Experience in a startup or growth environment is preferred High level of professionalism in handling confidential information
