Accounting Policy Associate

Our client is a food & beverage company. They seek an Accounting Policy Associate to join their Westchester, NY office.ResponsibilitiesResearch technical accounting issues and provide accounting guidance to business units and corporate functionsMonitor emerging accounting standards and support the implementation of new reporting requirementsDevelop, update, and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal guidance documentationAdminister accounting policy resources and identify industry best practices to enhance financial reportingPrepare SEC reporting schedules, disclosures, footnotes, and supporting documentation for quarterly and annual filingsAnalyze financial statement fluctuations, prepare disclosure checklists, and maintain supporting workpapersPerform materiality assessments and evaluate unrecorded differences to support accurate financial reportingCoordinate with external auditors and internal stakeholders to address technical accounting matters and audit requestsManage internal representation letter processes and support compliance with financial reporting controlsConduct financial analysis, benchmarking, and trend reporting to support management decision-making and continuous process improvementRequirements1-3 years of relevant experienceBig 4 or National experiencePublic company experienceExcellent communication skillsDetail-oriented and highly analyticalTagged as: Hybrid Remote/OfficeDate Posted:Posted on August 6, 2026Location:Westchester County, NY, USAJob Title:Accounting Policy AssociateSalary:$90,000 - $110,000
