You will work closely with Marketing directors to review their respective budget sheets on a periodic and ad hoc basis and will be responsible for Advertising and Marketing Overhead forecasting and reporting. Responsibilities Cross-Functional Budgeting & Forecasting: Collaborate with teams across Marketing, Finance, Merchandising, and Operations to support the development of annual budgets and rolling forecasts. Advanced Journal Entries: Prepare and review complex journal entries using strong accounting knowledge and data analysis skills to ensure compliance with GAAP and internal policies. Account Reconciliation & Compliance: Perform and review balance sheet reconciliations and analyze account activity to maintain accuracy and uphold financial standards. Ad Hoc Analysis & Communication: Conduct data-driven analyses as needed, clearly communicating insights to inform and educate both internal and external stakeholders. Finance Process Development: Create and update process documentation and training programs that support team development and consistency. Team Collaboration & Continuity: Cross-train with team members to ensure seamless operations and provide support on additional tasks as assigned. Qualifications Education & Experience: You hold a bachelor’s degree in accounting and have a minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience in accounting, auditing, or a related finance field. A master's degree in accounting or related field, CPA certification or active pursuit of CPA designation is preferred. Technical Proficiency: You possess advanced Excel skills and a strong command of accounting principles to support data analysis and financial reporting. Experience in SAP is preferred. Analytical & Problem Solving: You demonstrate the ability to research, analyze, and resolve complex financial issues with accuracy and insight. Communication & Collaboration: You have strong written communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with cross-functional teams. Work Ethic & Initiative: You are highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated with a proactive approach to learning and contributing. Curiosity & Growth Mindset: You are naturally inquisitive and eager to expand knowledge in financial systems and processes.
