Emergency Veterinarian - Overnight Shifts | ER + Urgent Care | Mentorship Available | Profit Share Bonus Model

We're a collaborative, independently owned, ER and urgent care facility located in Bakersfield CA. We are staffed by 5 dedicated DVMs-and we're looking for a veterinarian to take on overnight shifts as one of our senior ER doctors transitions away from nights after 20 years. He'll remain on board through July 1 (and likely beyond for day shifts), so there's plenty of opportunity for overlap and mentorship.

What we offer:

3x12 hour shifts/week - predictable and consistent scheduling

Per-shift compensation guarantee

Monthly profit share based on a point system - no production model, no competition among colleagues

Supportive team environment with 2-3 techs per shift and potential for 1-2 more

Strong mentorship culture - new grads welcome, though internship-trained or 3-5 years ER/UC experience is ideal

Leadership you can count on - our head tech (Ops Director-in-training) and a hands-off PM focused on admin, payroll, insurance, and accounting
