Travel Radiology Technologist - $1,533 per week

Job Overview Travel Radiology Technologist – Phoenix, Arizona. 13‑week assignment starting 07/20/2026, 12‑hour day shifts, 36 hours per week, travel type. Responsibilities Educate patients about imaging procedures and answer questions. Prepare and operate advanced radiologic equipment to capture high‑quality diagnostic images per physician orders. Maintain equipment and sterilize procedure rooms. Evaluate image quality, present images and preliminary findings to physicians and health‑care team. Inspect equipment for proper functionality, troubleshoot issues, and report malfunctions. Document all imaging procedures and technical details accurately in patient records. Follow hospital safety rules, infection control, and radiation safety protocols. Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of Radiologic Technologist practice. Required Qualifications One year’s experience as a Radiologic Technologist. Current Radiologic Technologist/Radiography license in compliance with state regulations. Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC). Preferred Qualifications Current ARRT Certification. Additional certifications and licenses as required for the position. Required Skills Critical thinking, service excellence, and strong interpersonal communication skills. Read, write, and communicate fluently in English. Follow written and verbal instructions; proficient with PC skills. Physical abilities: remain stationary, move equipment up to 50–100 lb, push, pull, bend. Interpersonal: work effectively with diverse personnel, maintain positive attitude and professionalism. Technical/motor: fine manipulation, push/pull, move around during procedures and equipment use. Mental: handle frequent public interaction, meet deadlines under pressure, work independently or under supervision as needed. Sensory: visual acuity and effective communication.
