Immigration and Customs Enforcement
Summary Organizational Location: These positions are located in the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Office of the Principal Legal Advisor (OPLA), in various locations around the US. Salary: The salary range indicated in this announcement will be adjusted to include locality payment for selected duty location. Learn more about this agency Duties Help As a Law Librarian, at the full performance level, you will perform the following duties:
- Provide reference and research support, including guiding users to appropriate legal resources and compiling legislative histories
- Advise and train OPLA employees in new and emerging library technologies, references, and related information.
- Draft written training and outreach materials.
- Assist in preparing content for publication via SharePoint; including, lists, libraries and pages.
- Assist with maintaining the library budget and preparing budget requests.
- Enhance resource sharing through DHS and other agency partnerships.
- You must be a U.S. citizen to apply for this position.
- You must successfully pass a background investigation. This may include a credit check, a review of financial issues, as well as certain criminal offenses and illegal use or possession of drugs.

- Developing research guides and instructional materials for research services.
