Physical Therapist

Organizes and conducts a Physical Therapy program to facilitate the rehabilitation of individuals with physical and/or psychosocial disabilities. Directs the patient's participation in selected activities and treatments to restore, reinforce, and correct pathology. Promotes and maintains good health. Performs evaluations and develops effective treatment plans tailored to a patient's rehabilitation needs. Employs effective treatment techniques competently. Educates patients, families, and caregivers about relevant health information, treatment, and prevention. Initiates and participates in the discharge planning process. Engages in additional departmental activities, including documentation and support of department operations.
