Boiler Technician

Job SummaryUnder direction of Facility Leadership, perform maintenance functions related to boiler operations; including but not limited to online and offline boiler tube cleaning, repair boiler tubes and cleaning equipment, and other preventative, corrective, and emergency maintenance as may be required.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerforms all duties and tasks in accordance manufacturer and WMHS procedures and with strict adherence to relative safety programs and standards including Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO), Confined Space, Fall Protection, Electrical Safety, etc.Assist Maintenance Technician in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment when needed.Operate equipment to clean fire tube boiler. Maintain and repair boiler tube cleaning equipment.Ensures all repairs are performed properly in the shortest amount of time possible to maintain the highest level of operational readiness.Performs preventive and scheduled maintenance daily on a variety of machinery within the plant. including: Fire tube boiler and ancillary equipment, steam delivery systems, water softeners and other water treatment equipment, air handling equipment, commercial washers, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, and conveyor systems.Air pollution control devices, to include bag houses, evaporative coolers, acid absorbers, and carbon beds.General air pneumatics, including air compressors, regulators, solenoid valves, 2-way and 3-way valve, tubing installation, pneumatic pumps and related systems.Performs any general work or other assignments necessary to ensure a safe, clean, healthy and efficient facility and vigorously support WMHS's commitment to Safety.Various Pumps and related components.Hydraulic systems, hoses and valves, cylinders.PH control and chemical injections.Fire tube boiler and ancillary equipment, steam delivery systems, water softeners and other water treatment equipment, air handling equipment, commercial washers, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, and conveyor systems.Steam turbine and electrical generator systems.Documents result from completed work orders based on schedule and priority or as required.Performs other related duties as required or requested.QualificationsA. Required QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED (accredited).2 years of experience with the use of forklifts, aerial lifts, and various rigging equipment.B. This role is designated as safety sensitive and will require the successful candidate to strictly comply with all safety rules and protocols. As part of the ongoing employment requirements, the successful candidate may be subject to drug and alcohol testing—including pre?employment screening, post?incident evaluations, reasonable suspicion checks, and random testing—in accordance with government regulations and company policies.Pay: The expected base pay rate for this office/on-site position is $30.00 per hour, plus 10% Night Shift Premium. This rate represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific salary offered to a successful candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location.V.
