Radiology - CT Tech

CT Technologist This is a 13-week contract position. 4/10 hour shifts - no overnights, every other weekend. The CT Technologist will serve as the primary liaison between patients, radiologists, and other members of the support team, demonstrating a thorough understanding of human cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, pathology, pharmacology, and medical terminology. The technologist is expected to maintain a high degree of accuracy in both positioning and exposure techniques while using professional and ethical judgment and critical thinking when performing duties. Responsibilities: Perform CT imaging procedures with a focus on patient care and safety. Position patients accurately for procedures and ensure proper exposure techniques. Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures and provide comfort. Collaborate with radiologists and support staff to ensure quality imaging and patient care. Utilize critical thinking and professional judgment in all aspects of the role. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure: Current California Certified Radiological Technologist License (CRT) Current Peripheral Vascular Access certification Current BLS Certificate Demonstrated understanding of radiology principles and patient care protocols.
