Job Opportunity – Emergency Department RN – Wisconsin

Location: Madison, Wisconsin

Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts (1900 - 0730), includes weekends and holidays. 4:1 patient ratio. 20 hours orientation provided.

Requirements:

• Active Wisconsin RN license or Compact RN license required
• Minimum two years of Emergency Department experience with adult and pediatric populations within the last three years
• Epic charting system experience required
• Current BLS, PALS, ACLS (AHA ONLY), and TNCC certifications required
• Previous travel experience required
• Must successfully pass telemetry competency exam prior to start date with strict passing criteria (80% or higher, 100% identification of lethal rhythms)
• Level II Trauma Center experience required; Level I Trauma experience preferred
• Must reside 50 miles or more from the facility
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)

Clinical Skills:

• Comprehensive emergency care including trauma, stroke, cardiac emergencies, and critical care interventions
• Ventilator management, arterial line and central line care, blood product administration
• Dysrhythmia interpretation and management, procedural sedation, advanced airway management
• Triage expertise, behavioral health crisis management, and multi-system organ dysfunction care
• IV vasopressors, continuous sedation and paralytics, ABG interpretation
