Customer Service Administrative Support Specialist
Pay Rate: $21/hr W2 Duration: 3 Months (Possible Extension to 6 Months) Schedule: Monday Friday | 8:00 AM 5:00 PM Location: Fully Onsite
Work Location: 7301 Orangewood Avenue, Garden Grove, CA 92841
Position Overview
The Customer Service Administrative Support Specialist supports the Customer Service team with high-volume administrative tasks, customer follow-ups, and order management activities. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate system data, assisting with customer communications, and supporting business initiatives including pricing updates on open orders.
The position works closely with Customer Service, Planning, and cross-functional teams to ensure timely processing of requests, workflow efficiency, and a consistent customer experience in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-volume administrative support tasks for the Customer Service department on a daily basis.
- Update pricing information on open customer orders using internal systems and provided business data.
- Conduct customer follow-ups regarding order status, pricing updates, and related inquiries to support timely communication.
- Review and maintain accurate customer and order information in company systems to ensure data integrity.
- Collaborate with Planning, Operations, and Customer Service teams to support order processing and workflow coordination.
- Process repetitive daily tasks with a high degree of accuracy and consistency.
- Support ongoing business initiatives and special projects assigned by management.
- Track and organize customer requests and documentation to ensure timely completion and follow-up.
- Assist with identifying process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and customer support operations.
- Follow established procedures and company policies while maintaining productivity and quality standards.
Qualifications
Required
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Strong administrative and organizational skills.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Proficiency with basic computer systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to learn new processes and take on additional responsibilities.
Preferred
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Prior customer service, administrative support, data entry, or order management experience preferred.
Additional Information
- Fully onsite role.
- Training provided for approximately 30 days (paid training).
