Job title – Desktop Hardware Technician
Location – Asheville, NC
Job type – 8 months contract with possible extension
Role Overview for Desktop Support Technician
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with hands-on laptop/desktop repair experience who enjoy working independently in the field.
Key Responsibilities for Desktop Support Technician
- Perform break-fix repairs on Dell laptops and desktops
- Replace hardware components including:
- Motherboards
- LCD screens
- Hard drives
- Keyboards
- PC peripherals
- Complete whole-unit swaps when necessary
- Troubleshoot and diagnose hardware/software issues
Required Qualifications for Desktop Support Technician
- 1+ years of hands-on laptop/desktop break-fix experience
- Experience diagnosing Dell laptops and PCs
- Experience replacing motherboards and LCD screens
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft applications and operating systems
- Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills
